Nicole nel Bosco delle Meraviglie // Nicole in Wonderwood (in Italian with English subs)

ENGLISH Hi! This is a video I made for a contest inspired by "Alice in Wonderland".. and.. well, in this park I really feel like "Alice"! This place remembers me a lot my childhood : every Wednesday I went with my family to a wood in Germany.. I even took there my two little rabbits and I enjoyed to create fairy tales where I was the main character =) With the family we went also in another "wonderwood" where we were in harness with all animals, above all deers. Among nature and my little friends, I felt well, I was really happy.. better than in an amusement park! The park that you'll see in this video remembers me a lot the enchanted time of my childhood spent in Germany, where I grow up, among nature, animals.. and among pizzas and ice-creams.. oh yes, I'm a daughter of a fabulous pizza and ice-cream maker :D This park does resurface my memories of that happy, smiling and light-hearted moment.. and it makes me go back in time, back to that little girl. I really hope you'll enjoy it and that you can feel at least a bit of the emotions I feel when I'm there. Let me know :) VIDEOS&PHOTOS All videos and photos were taken by me and are therefore of my propriety ALL photos, except for: - the map of France - the map of Paris with the 20 districts (but NOT the 4 photos on it. These were taken by me) - the map of Bois de Vincennes were taken by me and are therefore of my propriety. Some of them were modified. These modifications were made by me. In other words, all you see was ...

English Scones - Delicious English Scones Recipe

You will need:

- 2 cups all purpose flour

- 6 tbs. sugar

- 1 tbs. baking powder

- 1/2 tsp. salt

- 6 tbs. cold butter cut in cubes

- 1 egg

- 1 cup cream or whole milk

- 1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)

Start by preheating the oven. Combine dry ingredients all together then add small butter pieces into mixture. Break butter into small pieces using finger tips. In small bowl, beat egg and cream. Reserve 2 tbs of egg mix to use later in brushing the scones. Add raisins or chocolate chips to mixture.

Pour wet ingredients into flour mixture and then stir all together. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky. If the dough sticks to your fingers, correct the texture by adding some flour. If dough is stiff add some cream. Divide dough in half and shape into 2 balls. Place each ball on a greased baking sheet and press down to form circles about 6 inches across and 1 inch thick. Cut each circle to 6 wedges and pull wedges slightly away from one another. Lightly brush with reserved egg mixture and then bake for about 12 minutes or until lightly brown. Yield 12 scones.

Note: You can reduce the amount of sugar and do not add the raisins or chocolate chips to the scones. That would yield biscuit like scones, that you can eat savory(with cheese or cream potatoes) or sweet ( with cherry or berries jam and butter). Incredible rich taste.

For a lighter version & for those who worry about their weight, try reducing butter amount and use skimmed milk. Taste may not be as rich but it would still taste nice, warm and delicious.
