Europe is not only known for tourist destinations, fashion, cuisine, and culture. It is also known for her luscious sweets or candies if you live in other parts of the world. Europe boasts a wide array of sugary treats that make both the young ones and the young at hearts go gaga. Whatever sweet you're craving for, Europe has the answer and most of the time you will find your favourite treats in sweet hampers sold in candy stores across the continent.

Liquorice allsorts is one of the sweets Europe is known for. These scrumptious sweets are made of liquorice, coconut, sugar, aniseed jelly, gelatine, and fruit flavourings. First produced in Sheffield, England they became most popular in Britain and North America. So if you are into this chewy treat, you can help yourself in sweet hampers, just look for the nearest candy store, which by the way are easy to find all over Europe.

Have your ever heard of a dolly mixture? This is a confection that was first made in Britain. It is made of a variety of multi-coloured fondant shapes with subtle flavour. Some of the popular versions of this sweet include hard-coated fondants and sugar coated jellies. Dolly mixture is sold in a medium-sized packed consisting of different mixtures. Sweet hampers also have more than enough of these yummy delights.

It may sound funny to those who are not accustomed to European sweets but a flump taste so good it became famous not only in its native country but throughout the world. You may not know it as flump but I'm betting you already helped your self relishing this treat. Sweet hampers contains flump in different colours and sizes. If you're still wondering what it is, a flump is made of marshmallow. It's a combination of both pink and yellow (original colours) marshmallow that looks like a twisted helix.

Who wouldn't know the famous jelly babies? These babies, I mean sweets were first produced in 1919 to mark the end of World War I, originally names "peace babies". This confectionery is similar to gummi bears only with a harder crust and a softer centre. The jelly babies are popular in the United Kingdom and if you can't get enough of these tasty "babies" like George Harrison, then buying some sweet hampers will satiate your craving.
