ENGLISH Hi! This is a video I made for a contest inspired by "Alice in Wonderland".. and.. well, in this park I really feel like "Alice"! This place remembers me a lot my childhood : every Wednesday I went with my family to a wood in Germany.. I even took there my two little rabbits and I enjoyed to create fairy tales where I was the main character =) With the family we went also in another "wonderwood" where we were in harness with all animals, above all deers. Among nature and my little friends, I felt well, I was really happy.. better than in an amusement park! The park that you'll see in this video remembers me a lot the enchanted time of my childhood spent in Germany, where I grow up, among nature, animals.. and among pizzas and ice-creams.. oh yes, I'm a daughter of a fabulous pizza and ice-cream maker :D This park does resurface my memories of that happy, smiling and light-hearted moment.. and it makes me go back in time, back to that little girl. Once I reached the front I walked so that I was standing in front of my seat. I stood there as I watched the rest of my class walk down and take their spots. Once everyone had walked down the National Anthem as played and then we were signaled to sit. "Good evening and welcome to the commencement of the class of 2009," our principal said as graduation officially began. "I would like to introduce the President of the class of 2009," the principal said. After the President of our class gave her speech, it was then time for the top three students in the class to make their speeches. I was ranked fourth, which was where I wanted to be because I was at the top of the class, but I didn't have to make a speech. During the valedictorians speech it was time to break out the inflatable beach balls. It was tradition at our school to pass the beach ball around the graduates during the ceremony and of course the teachers would always get mad. "Put the beach ball away," one teacher told us. It's ABOUT TIME I reviewed this beer. This is an Imperial IPA by Russian River Brewing. One of the best Imperial IPA's out there with very strong grapefruit notes. The recipe for PLINY THE SORBET.: PLINY THE SORBET 3/4 cup of water 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup grapefruit juice (approx. half a grapefruit, juiced) one bottle (1 pint) of Pliny the Elder (minus one sip for tasting) Open up the bottle of Pliny the Elder and let it decarbonate for at least 30 min. Meanwhile, put the water and sugar in a small sauce pan and put over medium high heat until the sugar has completely dissolved (approx. 3 min.). Chill it. Chill the grapefruit juice also. Once Pliny the Elder has decarbonated, mix all the ingredients together and keep very cold in the freezer until everything is ready. Mix in a ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's directions, approx. 30-35 min. The end result will be a very soft textured Italian ice. It must be further frozen overnight in the freezer to achieve the proper texture.
