May 28, 1998; . . . . . . . . . . . Taylor sat silently on the grassy pavement of the local park as she brushed through the silky material of her barbie doll that she had recieved just days before. She cherished it with everything she had, it was something special. Her grandmother had passed away just a week ago, and before her death she had given Taylor the barbie doll she had always wanted. You see, Grandma Lilly was someone close to Taylors heart. She took care of her when her parents weren't around. She pratically raised Taylor into the child she was today. The tears glossed over Taylors beautiful rounded oculars which were the vibrant colors of the sea. Her memory flashed back to the moment that the one person that meant everything to her, had. . . left the world they lived on, forever. March 23, 1995; . . . . . . . . . . . . . "Taylor sweetie, come over here." Grandma Lilly's voice was in a hoarse whisper, waving Taylor weakly to come over to her. Walking slowly to her grandmother, Taylor sniffled for about the fifth time that evening as she clutched the dirty, tired out teddy bear to her chest. Deep down inside she felt as if the bear was keeping her heart safe, from breaking. . . "Yeah, granny?" Taylor wiped her eyes with the back of her hands. "I want you to know that I love you with everything in me. I will never forget all the little and big moments we had together. . . remember our late nights at the pier? We would watch the sunset go down slowly while eating ...
